Re: [tools-pmc] PMC approval for PDT 8.4

Hi Jonah,
yes I'm not sure what happened there, EMO probably never received the request to schedule the review. We're currently migrating all projects into an automatic yearly progress review cadence and I will do that for the Eclipse PDT project after we close this one.
Thanks for your quick reply.

Hi Maria Teresa,

I think that the 8.4 release review that Dawid created should achieve that once a year requirement - https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.pdt/reviews/eclipse-php-development-tools-8.4-release-review - was there a step missed for it I see the "This review is pending; contact The Eclipse Management Organization to make it public." banner is still on it. The release review has a PMC +1 here: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/tools-pmc/msg05571.html

If you need the progress review too, here is the PMC +1

Jonah

Dear Dawid,
According to the EDP, every Eclipse Foundation project must complete at least one successful progress or release review each year. The project is currently overdue for such a review, so I took the liberty of scheduling one:
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.pdt/reviews/eclipse-php-development-tools-2025.12-progress-review
We will be tracking this review on GitLab: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/issues/1090
PMC members, please provide your comments and a +1 for the Eclipse PHP Development Tools 2025.12 Progress Review.

Thank you in advance,
Maria Teresa
