The EGL contest in China is pretty interesting.  Our development team in Beijing is hosting the contest, and they translated a lot of our documentation, tutorials, and blog articles into Chinese to support the contest.  The contest will wrap up over this coming month, and then we should have article on the EDT blog about it, including information about the EGL applications that were submitted.  The team that wins first prize will receive iPads, popular anywhere but an especially hot commodity in China!

The EGL contest for Chinese university students sounds interesting ... but, couldn't read their web page ... I hope they come out with an English language version of the results :)

Tools PMC,
The EGL Development Tools project is targeting our third incubator
release, EDT 0.8.1, for July.  We have prepared the attached release
documentation for your review and approval. Our IP Log  has been submitted,
and its approval is being worked in parallel.   

I apologize for the short notice.  Please let us know if you have any
specific questions, or suggestions on how to make the documentation better.
Otherwise will look forward to you documenting your support for this
release.
