Re: [tools-pmc] Location of termination review materials ... for your long term reference

I like redundancy ... in small amounts :)

I this case, I think for you to have the final, official, read-only copy is fine and good. And, don't think we need additional filters for "tools only".

What I was storing for PMC members is more for preparation, or "working copies" ... maybe for "joint editing" in future? I remain optimistic that some other Tools PMC member will someday write one of these instead of it always being me ... so, just trying to make that easier in future.

So, in this case, I don't think its too redundant and each serves it purpose. I guess it could be argued we don't need to store our own PDF version ... just source? Maybe that's what you meant in the first place? If it'd bother you less, I could delete those, with little lost. But, otherwise, I know of no other "shared" source repository for "tools stuff". If you or others think its a waste of cvs space and will never be needed, I'll delete them all. I did ask for suggestions ...

Thanks,

I do keep a copy of all materials. You can access them through this link:

http://eclipse.org/projects/tools/reviews.php?id=technology.subversive

I am suggesting that I can filter this link by top-level if you'd so that you don't have to. Redundancy bothers me.

Not really ... unless it saves you some trouble. If so, you're welcome to link to "our" version. (I thought you needed your own "archival" copy stored for permanent history, or something).

But, if easier for you to link, rather than copy, here's the full URL (to most recent one):

http://www.eclipse.org/tools/reviewMaterials/201105/VETerminationReview.pdf

Hope it helps,

I can provide a page with PMC-specific reviews with links to materials if you think that'd be valuable.
