[tm-dev] TM Tycho Builds

Hi all,

Anna has tirelessly been working on migrating TM builds to Tycho – here is a current status:

There’s still quite some open issues, but on the other hand many other projects don’t care about these issues either.

On the positive side, as Platform is moving to Tycho for CBI / LTS, there is a chance that more Tycho deficiencies are fixed

(eg source references, .api_description files).

One important decision to make is whether we continue generating plain numeric “NNNN” qualifiers like I’ve been doing

For the past couple builds, or we move back to “vNNNN” qualifiers now that Tycho can apparently generate them too.

Any thoughts ?
