Re: [tm-dev] Opening remote file selection dialog? + Rec. way of fetching host?

Ah ok,

We cannot change the Eclipsecon page after the fact … that’s why I downloaded the slides + samples to Eclipse some time ago, and the correct links are on the homepage, FAQ and tutorial pages.

Thanks anyways.

Thanks,

Martin

Thanks!

Well, sorry, I mixed the pages up. It was not the wiki which had the broken link, but the EclipseCon 2008 page: http://www.eclipsecon.org/2008/?page=sub/&id=38 (The slides and code links).

Hi Samuel,

Thanks for letting us know of those broken links.

I fixed the TCF one on the homepage.

For the FAQ, would you mind fixing the link yourself? It’s a Wiki so you can edit it yourself easily.

For more getting started tutorials, see the “getting started” leftnav on the TM homepage, it points to

http://eclipse.org/tm/tutorial/index.php

Thanks,

Martin

Any further tips on helpful relevant guides / docs are most welcome though. I'm rather new to Eclipse RCP and RSE development, so I don't always seem to look in the right place.

Is there anything such as an "RSE for developers" book, for example?

Well, I found now the mention about the EclipseCon 2008 slides, in the FAQ [1]. Will have a look at it.

The link named "EclipseCon 2008 Tutorial on RSE" on that page is broken though, as well as the "tcs-0.2.0.zip" one on the TM page [2] (could manually figure out the correct URL though [3].

Best Regards
