Hi,

I like the slide 3 "modified original" most. Just some considerations:

* globe reminds more of a map / geography software? (or an airline, beloved Pan Am)
* folders more of file systems?
* focus drawer = what is the meaning of 'focus' for a drawer (just do not know), why is it called 'focus drawer'?

I am not sure I understand the comments written in German because they seem to be less explanatory?

We have now a next iteration of the logo design. Attached you will find the ideas in the ppt slides

The rationale of the designer is as follows (only in German, sorry but I can translate if required by anyone)
-	Das Original - nicht empfehlenswert:
o	SW360 ist nicht ablesbar, da nicht enthalten es gibt nur die sehr kleine 360
o	Als Zeichen viel zu kleinteilig - da wurde versucht zuviel Symbolik zu integrieren
o	Unglücklicher Mix aus Darstellung in 2D und 3D - funktioniert nicht
o	Ein kaum erkennbarer Schatten soll das vermutlich verbessern - funktioniert nicht
o	Langweiliges Grau ohne inhaltlichen oder "familiären" Bezug
o	Gestalt, Symbolik, Farbigkeit sind nicht klar, prägnant, eigenständig, einprägsam
o	In Summe grafisch nicht ausreichend wertig

-	Modifiziertes Original - besser aber auch nicht empfehlenswert:
o	SW360 ist lesbar da Teil der Wort-Bild-Marke
o	Etwas weniger kleinteilig - weiterhin zu viel Symbolik enthalten
o	Weiterhin unglücklicher Mix aus Darstellung in 2D und 3D - funktioniert noch immer nicht
o	Bauplan, grafische Formen, Farbigkeit des eclipse-Logos eingesetzt (Familiengedanke)
o	In Summe besser als das Original, das Bild in der Wort-Bild-Marke bleibt allerdings weiterhin zu schwach

-	Die inhaltlich fokussierenden Motive (drawer, index cards, eclipse world):
o	SW360 ist lesbar da Teil der Wort-Bild-Marke
o	Bauplan, grafische Formen, Farbigkeit des eclipse-Logos eingesetzt (Familiengedanke)
o	Individualisierung durch Einsatz EINES differenzierenden Symbols

about the colours: we could still consider the Eclipse colours There has been an e-mail where they have  discussed another logo on the incubation mailing list about another eclipse Eclipse Project ("TEA")

Hi,
personally I don't like the green color that much. 
My favourite one is:

I like the color and the style.
If we would go with a circle instead I would propose to try a blue circle :-) Best

As I have already reported in one of our last meetings, I asked an inhouse designer to make the colors of our logo more crisp. However, she came up with some other suggestions:
