Hello Pedro,
I have a macroscopic traffic model, which I train over a network to do load forecasting, where each node is a junction, each edge is a road, and the edges hold the load and capacity information. What I want to do is to see if the model is not slower than SUMO in terms of training and preparation time, and after I train the model for 50 steps for my model and set / optimize SUMO, I get the error rates for both my model and SUMO for the next 50 steps and compare them. But to do that, I need a way for SUMO to be prepared and optimized in a way so that it resembles to the real world data since I don't have the traffic signal data and just the load data.

Toprak

Good afternoon,

I would need to understand your problem better to try to help you.

I believe that the ideal would be for you to enter data from an OD trip matrix through od2trips.py and use duaiterate.py to perform the traffic assignment.

To validate the network, it would be necessary to insert traffic detectors on the edges to count the traffic and a spreadsheet (Excel) to measure the GEH.

Hello,
I have a network, and for each road, I have the data on load and capacity. I want to use the initial load data to start a simulation in SUMO and optimize some parameters so that the load distribution after the simulation time is as close as possible to real data. So, what is the best practice for loading "load data" and optimizing SUMO?
