[sumo-user] Lane reduction parameters after passing the intersection
|
Dear all,I
am currently simulating the traffic conditions around an expressway ramp, but
the simulated situation has always been very different from the real
phenomenon. I have tried to adjust many traffic flow parameters, such as
lcKeepRight, cSpeedGain, lcStrategic, lcLookaheadLeft,
lcCooperativeRoundabout... etc., but the effect it is still not as expected. I would appreciate if anyone can give me
some suggestions on parameter adjustment, the following is an
explanation of the problems:
- Characteristics of this intersection: After passing this intersection, vehicles
will enter the highway ramp entrance.
- This intersection has 3 lanes before passing the intersection, and there are
only 2 lanes after passing the intersection. In reality, the outer two lanes
will slowly converge after entering the intersection and entering the outside lane
(It has been set through CONNECTION MODE in the road network editing, as shown
in Figure 1). However, in the simulation, the vehicle will have too much comity
in order to avoid collisions, resulting in very low efficiency at the
intersection.
- Many vehicles will use the inner lane to pass through the intersection, then
change lanes to the outside lane, and finally enter the ramp, similar to the
trajectory of Figure 2. But in the situation I simulated, the vehicle will
drive in the outside lane before passing the intersection. Few vehicles behave
the same as the above, and this is also different from the real environment. I
tried to adjust lcStrategic or other parameters, but the effect is still
limited.
Attached
to the letter are images of the current situation and simulated videos. It can
be found that at the same green light time, the number of vehicles passing
through the intersection is very different, and many vehicles use the inner
lane to pass through the intersection, then change to the outer lane, and
finally enter the ramp. I
would appreciate it if anyone can give me some suggestions on parameter adjustment,
thank you!
Sincerely
Tony Kuo
