Actually, this is interesting apropos SOAS :

Konstantin of WTP Facet fame looks like he wants to revamp the whole  
approach
and make it more useful. It would be a good idea to keep an eye on  
what's going
on there, so whoever is doing the work should get themselves cc'ed on  
that bug
entry.

Note - it would be a good idea to link any proposals to a bug entry  
ourselves so
that others can track it more easily.
