Re: [stp-dev] Assembly model editor?

Hi Bogdan,

We are currently experimenting with one.  It is based on the WTP SSE editor with a  design tab built using GEF.  We are using the STP core model, and generate a graphical view (a la XSD /WSDL editors). I will send some screen shots as the code is not yet public.

The work is being done in the Lomboz (lomboz.objectweb.org) project as an experiment now.  There are some screencasts available with the project that should give you an idea of  the existing  SCA support.  If it amounts to something usable/useful we are considering them for  contribution into STP.

Assembly model editor?

Hello Naci,

Oisin told me that you are about to contribute Assembly Model editor for the STP.
How far are you with the implementation? Can you send some screenshots or code that we could run?
If you do not have screenshots or code could you tell us how you imagine the editor? Will it be a form based editor or a graphical one (sca graphical notations)?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Bogdan
