RE: [stp-dev] Weekly STP meetings
|
Pro's and cons
- Phone can allow for faster decisions ( I expect we would have had the same
debate on the phone, might have gone faster)
- With phone someone has to "not" participate and perform the role of
taking notes to de posted back to the dev list (I am not volunteering to do this)
- High call count bridges often have a lot of echo ( we have committers
from 7+ countries)
If the group votes to open the bridge again next week I can do so. When we had the
bridge and IRC open we have always had more people on the IRC.

Subject: [stp-dev] Weekly STP meetings
Hi guys,
since we have just raised the issue of the weekly STP meeting time I
would like to add another suggestion. I propose that we switch from IRC
to phone conferences. Personally, I find the IRC type conversation a bit
unsatisfactory. Yesterdays meeting had a good conclusion but I think we
might have been able to resolve the issue quicker and the discussion
might not have gotten so heated if we had been on a conference call.
Opinions ?
In terms of the meeting: I would like to stick with Wednesdays.
Stefan
