Notes from the STEM Call on July 12, 2018 On the call: Jamie, Stefan, Ahmad, Taras, and Judy NEXT CALL: THURSDAY, AUGUST 9, 2018 1. Update on STEM Version 4.0 Milestone 1 *Icon order has been fixed TO DO: Review documentation; update if necessary *Jar file for Apache commons math 2.2 committed TO DO (eventually): Add jar file for math 3 *Red dot icons not resolved TO DO: Stefan will look at XML plugin with Eclipse 4; Jamie will work with Matt Davis (still a committer at his new firm) to resolve if need be 2. Build Server Decision TO DO: Jamie contacted the webmaster at Eclipse immediately following the concall https://wiki.eclipse.org/jenkins: As of March 1st, 2018 all Hudson masters have been migrated to Jenkins. See https://ci.eclipse.org 3. Proposal for STEM Version 4.0 Release TO DO: When build is complete, set up meeting with Eclipse TO DO: Prepare slide deck proposal with request to approve for modified Eclipse logos for STEM per bug 534480 OUTCOME: STEM to graduate from Milestone to a Release 4. Project Updates *Emily: Not on call; in contact with Jamie on problem with weekly integration build on a Mac; have work session scheduled for Friday, July 13; problem may be with university installed software, not Apple; per email, Emily to defer addressing issues using disease initializer with stochastic solver; if there’s a problem, will send practice problem to Jamie/Stefan *Taras: Can’t locate scenario for batch experiment (only automatic) TO DO: Jamie will find or place an example batch experiment on the wiki this weekend 5. Bugs and Feature Requests 534480: EMO approvals for current and future STEM logos (See item 2) 530858: “Randomize Seed” feature moved to branch; bug marked fixed; Jamie will close 530546: Avoiding misspellings in disease and population decorator; new, stem.ui-inbox 530549: Warning decorators not editable through the scenario in STEM; new, stem.ui-inbox |
