Even more important than just no exceptions, the other information in
the log is dead-on: it's definitely doing exactly the proper cycle of
messages for a login. For most of the most obvious errors that I can
think of, I'd expect to see a problem (not necessarily an exception, but
some kind of anomaly) in the messaging sequence. But it looks dead-on -
which suggests that the problem is either configuration related, *or*
that there's some kind of problem in the challenge encryption.
I just finished re-installing my system over the weekend (long story),
and this is the first chance I've had to run Stellation since the great
re-install. I'm still having a bit of postgres trouble, which is
interfering with my ability to run the test. I didn't manage to finish
fixing and running postgres in time to reproduce your problem last
night I've got meetings today until noon, but I'll get right back on
this as soon as I have the time to work on it this afternoon.
