I'm with you on that; it's a lot of what led me into this project. (I
don't know if you've heard my Montana shpiel, but my habit of watching
how people choose and use tools led me directly into starting the
project that became Stellation.)

can, but often can't, because his hardware just isn't up to the rather
heavy demands placed on it by Eclipse. (As much as I love Eclipse, I do
admit that it is quite the resource hog.) So I think he's mainly working
outside of Eclipse due to necessity.
On the other hand, I think Dave does it out of choice: he prefers to
use xemacs and a command line instead of a heavy GUI environment.
