Here is the "Scm" in Palatino version that you suggested . The xpm icon
is also attached

I am leaving until Thursday. I will be at 3000 meters high in the
mountains, far away from any version of Gimp. Any new idea will have to
wait a couple of days.
I'm sure you'll come back with a splendid new high-level perspective on
life ....
my current escape is kayaking which (sometimes) gives me a bottom-up
viewpoint...
