[stellation-res] Web site reorganization (no content changes)
|
I've just finished reorganizing the website to remove the redundant, top-level
docs directory. All documents (except the top-level main.html and
cpl-v10.html)
are now located within this CVS folder:
plugins/org.eclipse.stellation.misc/docs
I have updated links accordingly, and everything seems to work. Of course,
please report any broken links or other problems you find, so that I can
fix them.
I used Eclipse CVS for updating the site, and found (pleasantly) that it
handles
deleted files fairly well - such files are removed from HEAD when the
Stellation
project is committed to the repository. Empty directories are left behind --
in the repository (presumably because they still hold previous file versions )
-- but that is only visible when using the CVS Repositories view (or similar
command-line CVS functions). These empty directories are deleted from
the local file system and Eclipse workspace.
FYI, the previous top-level directories 'img' and 'docs' have just been removed
(there is also a phantom top-level 'devel' directory from a previous website
reorg).
BTW - Mark and I have finished the local Eclipse class and are both looking
forward to charging back into Stellation work. During spare moments over
the past three days, I built PDFs for the Eclipse 2.0 online guides (e.g. the
Eclipse Help system), along with full Eclipse 2.0 API Javadoc (in regular HTML
and printable PDF formats). If anyone on this list wants them, let me know and
perhaps we can find a way to make them available.
Regards,
Jim
