I have been reading the docs on the LONG column type. There seem to be
too many restrictions on this type of column that I won't use it. I am
following your advice and am downloading Oracle 9i as I type this.
Oracle provides their software for free for development and application
prototyping purposes, and I think the Stellation Oracle backend
development is in line with their license terms.
