Dare I say it, this would be a really good project for a contributor :-)
I'd like to see better authentication support in Stellation. But to be
honest, there's a lot to do, and most of our time is committed to
other things. The current authentication system is good enough
for now, so the IBM group won't get to looking into switching to a better
method for a while.
But if it's something that interests you, I'd be glad to give you whatever
help you needed to give integrating JAAS a shot.
