Hi,

It is usually a good practice to keep voting- and discussion threads separate on the mailing list.

This can be achieved by prefixing the voting thread in the subject line with "VOTE:", "[VOTE]", or similar. As an example, all ballots in the specification committee are prefixed with "[BALLOT]".

Discussions, comments, and questions not directly related to the vote should be kept on a separate thread. This makes it easier to track the votes.
