Dear devs and committee,

 

we have a proposal on how to handle the GUI update by Fabian:

1. PR https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/simopenpass/simopenpass/+/165281 will be merged to branch “itk”
2. from branch “itk” a new branch “osccar” will be created
   => here further development of modular driver and other topics can continue, based on ver. 0.6
3. branch “servant” will be merged to “itk”, so it is upgraded to soon-to-become ver. 0.7
4. new plugins will be added to “itk”
   => can be reviewed by others
5. IF all agree, a PR will be created to merge “itk” to “servant” containing
1. new core, observer, spawner (already there)
2. new collision (almost there)
3. new GUI with new plugins (to be approved)

 

We can discuss the plan and alternatives on the next AC/SC meeting in detail...
