[servlet-dev] Release of Servlet-API javax/jakarta version with HTTP/2 f

Recently there was a fix for HTTP/2 protocol error codes handling which 
was merged into servlet-api master 
(https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/servlet-api/pull/321).

It would be great to release a version of the API which contains that fix.

However master is now jakartified. And any future release will introduce 
jakartified version of the fix. Which is for sure is a great thing.

But it would be really helpful to release javax version as well. Is it 
possible for someone of committers to the servlet-api project to create 
a branch which will support javax version as well? I will cherry-pick 
(and pull request) merged fix to that branch as well. So, it would be 
included in the 4.0.4 javax servlet-api?
