Re: [science-pmc] 20260727 Meeting summary

Hi Science PMC,
I've scheduled the graduations reviews as requested by Jay Jay:
- SWT Chart: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/work_items/1266
- statET: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/work_items/1267
- Chemclipse: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/work_items/1268

I will consider this email as a +1 for all the above mentioned graduation reviews.

Also, Jay Jay has brought to our attention that you might need a refresher on the committer/PL self-retirement process. The Eclipse Foundation Handbook provides some guidance regarding the process to do this: https://www.eclipse.org/projects/handbook/#elections-retire-cm (remember you need to be logged into your EF account).

If a PL needs to retire a committer for whatever reason, they can do so by logging into their EF accounts, navigating to the  project's "who's involved" tab and clicking on the committer in question, there, PLs will be prompted with a message and a checkbox to retire the committer (see example below):

Hope this helps, if you you find any issue during the retirement process please let us know, we'll be happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
Maria Teresa

Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting today. I apologize again for the technical hiccup I experienced with Google Meet.

Here are the action items from the meeting, all of which I will handle.
* Retire inactive PMC members.
* Retire dead projects and inactive committers.
* Work with the EMO to schedule graduation reviews for StatET, Chemclipse, and SWT Chart. (The graduation review for Eclipse ICE is already scheduled.)
* Discuss the future of the Science Top-Level Project with Wayne Beaton (when he returns in August)

Please let me know if you have questions, especially those who could not attend.

Best,
Jay
