[science-pmc] Reminder: PMC meeting Monday August 26 @ 10am EDT

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for volunteering to do the updates! It would definitely be worth putting something on the page. I’m not sure how you add content to science.eclipse.org. Does anyone know?

Also, a reminder that we have a PMC meeting next Monday. This would be a good opportunity to address any remaining project related issues for the release. Also, we should discuss how we want to publicize the release.

Thanks,
Greg

The Science page at https://science.eclipse.org/ is looking a little quiet.

Maybe we could have a news item about the upcoming October 1 release?

Should the PMC meeting notes (link below) be available?

I'm happy to do the updates if someone can give me access to edit https://science.eclipse.org/

As far as Triquetrum is concerned, I've started a draft of the 0.3.0 release pages.  Erwin will be submitting some CQs for third party code.  Primarily the CQs are minor updates to the Ptolemy II modules.

Minutes of the meeting are here [1]. For those project unable to attend, please check the table at the end of the document to make sure that the release version is correct and the type of review required is also correct. Please let me know when you have done that.

If you project is going to have a major or minor release (but not a bug fix release), you’ll need to go to your project page and create a release. You should use a release date of October 1 (or sooner if you wish). Once the release material is ready, you can schedule a review for any available slot. Information about releasing is here [2].

Regards,
Greg
