Hi Ian,
I have started a wiki at http://wiki.eclipse.org/RT/OSGi_Certification to gather the list of projects and OSGi specifications they implement which they would like to put through the OSGi Certification process. The one issue I have as Equinox lead is that the Equinox core framework currently implements the R4.3 Core Specification. But the R4.3 core specification certification program has not been launched by the OSGi Alliance yet. I am not sure if I can step up to getting an R4.3 core framework implementation to pass the R4.2 certification program. But I am willing to try. I am also willing to do the work necessary to run the tests for Equinox.

[rt-pmc] OSGi Certification |
As you might know, the OSGi Alliance has a certification program for their standards and it cost money to apply for the certification. In the past, if I understand correctly, certification of Equinox has been done via IBM.
Moving forward the Eclipse Foundation is considering to pay for the certification. However, we would like to understand the following: 1) which projects would like to apply for certification, and 2) are the project committers willing to commit to doing the work for the certification.
It would be appreciated if the RT PMC could help survey the RT projects to determine what level of interest there is in OSGi certification.
Thanks
Ian
