Why not expand the update site?
That way, consumers can install directly without having to download
and decompress the archive locally.

Hi Wayne,
Thanks for correction.
Now I followed same directory organization than for Capella
and I could upload ReqCycle 0.8.0 update site as zipped file.
I have updated wiki to reflect that change and removed
references to gitHub.
Hope everything is OK now

HI Benoit, Wayne,
can any of you tell me which is the right directory
to put the « ReqCycle-updateSite.zip »?
I found in the doc that there is a « downloads »
but I could not find PolarSys nor ReqCycle.
Help !
Thanks
Raphaël
Upload files to
the download server?
Downloadable
files must be placed in the downloads area
(~/downloads, or /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org)
so they can be mirrored to our mirror sites
worldwide. Please
ensure only pertinent, current files are in the
downloads area, as we cannot store an eternity
of nightly, integration and stable builds.
Production releases can be kept forever; however, we
ask that you move archived releases to archive.eclipse.org
(see below).
To upload
your files:
- use an SFTP or SCP client (in SFTP mode) and
connect to build.eclipse.org
using your committer account
- upload files to your project's directory in
the downloads area (typically
~/downloads/toplevel/yourproject). Ask your
project lead.

Thank
you to update this information in the PMI,
release review documentation, Wiki.
Hello Benoit,
Three
questions before approval:
1. Can you add
details about the ReqCycle
community?
As far as I know: Airbus, Thales, Safran and
Altran have shown their interest
through providing use cases and
working on evaluations. There are also evaluations
through AMALTHEA and OpenETCS european
projects, MOISE (Toulouse IRT) and
Clarity (Paris IRT) french R&D
projects.
2. In the
Installation Guide page [1], there
are download references to github. I
have seen that are builds of
ReqCycle (with one zip file). The
download of ReqCycle must be from
the PolarSys servers. Can you
clarify this point?
Simple: as IP analysis was
delayed we could not put a button for the
official 0.8.0 release because it was not
officialized. But we needed to put some
link for evaluation. So we used github for
this purpose. Now that 0.8.0 is about to
be approved, I will use « official »
Eclispe downloads area for that and
installation guide will be updated to
reflect this change.
3. About the
target environments. Are your builds
really compatible with Windows
32-bits, 64-bits, Linux and Mac-OS?
Tested with Win64, Linux
and MacOS. I can not guarantee for win32.
