[platform-vcm-dev] General mechanism for saving project meta data ?

Hi !

After taking a look at the VCM 2 examples and the CVS implementation,
I think it would be a good idea to have a central and general mechanism for 
saving a projects' meta-data (aka .vcm_meta). I realize that the CVS 
implementation has some classes for exactly that functionality but they 
aren't public and I don't want to copy or clone them.

Any comments ?
