A better place to ask these questions would be the platform-swt-dev
mailing list. (This
mailing list is for VCM-related development discussions).
Someone mentioned that there already exist Java bindings for the Cocoa
API, that would
be a large amount of work already done... good luck with this project.

Hello,
The SWT page on Eclipse.org mentions new platforms to port SWT to. I
would like to have one added to the list: MacOS X (Cocoa). I volunteer
to help developping it from the Java side. I don't have a lot of Mac
development experience.
How to go from here?
