RE: [platform-update-dev] Hunting season open

Update uses standard java.net URL support and as long as we can open a
connection and get the input stream, we are fine. I checked Sun's Java
pages and they claim that JSSE optional package has been made part of
standard JDK for version 1.4. This means that it may not be available on
all the platforms and for users using older SDKs (1.3).
