RE: [platform-ui-dev] Generic ResourceNavigator for 3.2?

Hi Michael,
Is there a mechanism to find out the resolution of the
planning? Say, around December? If a Generic Navigator is available
(hallelujah!) then we won't put a bunch of time into our navigator view
(which started out as a demo, and worked "good enough" but really needs to be
redesigned if we are going to have to keep using it long
term).

Hi Susan, The situation is that we (Platform UI) are currently
trying to work out a plan with the WTP (and JDT) teams to see if we can
successfully move the Generic (aka Common) Navigator down into the platform and
port existing navigators to it in 3.2. Michael Van Meekeren Platform UI

I'm implementing an RCP that needs a file system navigator very
similar
to (or exactly like) the one described in bug
36961
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=36961. There was
some
discussion about this being included in 3.1, but that doesn't seem
to
have happened. Are there any plans to include it in
3.2?
