Hi Susan,

The situation is that we (Platform UI)
are currently trying to work out a plan with the WTP (and JDT) teams to
see if we can successfully move the Generic (aka Common) Navigator down
into the platform and port existing navigators to it in 3.2.

I'm implementing an RCP that needs a file system navigator
very similar
to (or exactly like) the one described in bug 36961
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=36961. There was some
discussion about this being included in 3.1, but that doesn't seem to
have happened.  Are there any plans to include it in 3.2?
