[platform-dev] Warning when trying out integration builds

It seems the preferences in the 0422 build are not compatible with M8. So if you open a workspace using a more recent integration build, going back to M8 is not easy. (I have my own enhancements to M8 and was too lazy to migrate them to 0422)
