The last time I had this error, this worked --
Refactor menu->debugging->Clear and Rebuild database
Sometimes I have to restart eclipse, but most often just rebuilding the database fixes the error.

Hi,
Since I lost some time on that, I decided to share my experiment as a
reminder for others:
for a 1800 lines modules with several subroutines inside, the Outline
view stayed "Pending" at least for 15 mn.
I spent some time googling and beginning a mail to this list.
Then, reading a message from Jeff dated March 11th, I had the idea of
closing the editor window and reopening it => outline OK again.
Do we have to systematically close and open again all the editor windows
after each update?

Hi,
I use eclipse on Linux/x86_64 CentOS 5.5 and Ubuntu 11.04. On both
systems I cannot get indexer to work. I get. Recently I upgrade to
Photran 6.0.7 but get the same error:
"'Photran indexer' has encountered a problem. An internal error occurred
during: 'Photran Indexer'".
Under "Details" there is a message:
"An internal error occured during: 'Photran indexer'.
java.lang.NullPointerException.
My version of java is:
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.7.5) (rhel-1.16.b17.el5-x86_64)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)
What do I miss here?
