sorry for the late reply, I didn't see it in March.  Roger Light, the author of the Mosquitto C++ library, is now deprecating it in favour of the Paho C++ library (see the Mosquitto blog).

One of the main differences in the libraries is that the Paho one includes support for persistence - the ability for a application to close and then reopen at a later time starting at the same point.  The other differences are probably mainly a question of style.

- The project is compiled on AMD and ARM architecture, used OS: Ubuntu and Debian.
- Fast C/C++ bugs fixes and supports.
- stability, robustness.
