[paho-dev] Vote for Committer status for Pierre Fersing was started by Roger Light

iot.paho Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Roger Light has nominated
Pierre Fersing as a Committer on the iot.paho project. The reason given is
as follows:

Dear Paho team,

I'd like to nominate a new committer, Pierre Fersing, to the project who
would be working on the Python client.

Pierre has been very helpful over the past few months. He has prepared a
number of patches to fix problems with the Python client in different
areas. He has also been commenting on other pull requests and discussing
the best way of implementing fixes/features.

A little while ago a backlog of pull requests had built up, Pierre went
through all of the pull requests and categorised them for me in terms of
whether they were obsolete, conflicted with another request, needed
updating or could be merged as is. This was extremely helpful.

Pierre has nudged me more recently to keep on top of pull requests and ask
about release plans.

I believe he would be a valuable member of the team and would inject some
vitality into the Python client development.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 11 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Pierre Fersing must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Kamil Baczkowicz
    Ian Craggs
    Andy Gelme
    Roger Light
    Dave Locke
    Nicholas O'Leary
    Frank Pagliughi
    Paolo Patierno
    Andy Piper
    Al Stockdill-Mander
    James Sutton

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.
