Re: [paho-dev] Vote for Committer status for Nicholas O\'Leary was started by Scott de Deugd

Wayne, to be clear Nick is still working in this area, is directly supporting the MQTT/Paho open source community,  and  would be completing the committer questionnaire as an employee of IBM.

Hi,

Yes, I wrote the Java client, but I left the team in IBM that Dave and
Ian are in before the donation was made.

On the bug front, here are a couple bugs I've raised and provided fixes for:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=385226
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=384866 - an example of
a timing window that my intimate knowledge of the threading model of
the client made easy to identify.

although assigned, the fixes have not yet been picked up.

Regards,
Nick
