Re: [paho-dev] Java client installation and usage sample

Agree that it would be good to get this into the Marketplace. We're also discussing an all-in-one M2M IDE release for the future as well, over on the eclipse-m2m-iwg mailing list.

Thanks so much for sharing these instructions, hopefully we can get this linked from the wiki soon (feel free to add it there yourself if I don't get a chance myself first!)

Hello all,

Recently I was working with Paho plug-in for Eclipse and found that instructions about how to build it (from README.txt) do not cover all steps. I described what steps I did to make it work:

http://mobilave.info/blog/2012/Quick_start_guide_for_the_Eclipse_Paho_Plug-in.html

I am not sure if I did everything right but eventually I was able to use this plug-in. Would be grateful for any comments.

PS. It would be great to have this plug-in on Eclipse marketplace.

Regards,
LX

Thank you for this information. No I did not, I just did not notice it.
Will try it shortly :)

Nice work and thank you for contributing this. I'm sure it would be
useful if this was linked from the Paho website too. Sadly I cannot do
anything to help there as I'm not one of the project committers and
don't have access to the website.

I'll link it from the wiki for now. Thanks again.

Hello all,

I saw there is a quick guide for C client by Andy but there was
nothing about Java client, so I wrote it:
