Re: [p2-dev] repository that was removed shows up again....

Hi Susan,

I don't believe that I refer this repository from any other repositories. However, I will make sure that this scenario is not happening.

Thanks for the reply,

Hi, Soby.
Is it possible that you have another repository that references this repository? If so, then you would see the repository reappear whenever the referring repository was added/loaded.

Subject: [p2-dev] repository that was removed shows up again....

Hello:

Does anyone know why a repository that was removed through the IRepositoryManager.removeRepository(URI location) shows up sporadically as a valid repository through the IRepositoryManager.getKnownRepositories() again? Or in other words, after removing the repository I don't see this repository coming back again most of the time, however once in a while it shows up. Is anyone aware of any race conditions that p2 have when removing a repository and querying for the available repositories again?

Thank you,

Soby Chacko
