Re: [ospo.zone] Make your voice heard: Taking a Pulse on OSPOs in Europe

Thank you Ana for the thorough answer, I'll definitely watch the repo when it's updated.
I hope people do answer the survey as it will help map the current landscape. And thanks again for sharing. :-)

Have a nice day!

Hello 😊

The results will be published in September during OSSummit and OSPOCon. I can notify OSPO.Zone folks by sharing the results and raw data link on this mailing list if that helps 🙂

All data and insights from previous surveys (including raw data) are open and available at https://github.com/todogroup/osposurvey. The 2022 survey results will be shared in this repo too and as a new entry in the OSPONews 🙂

FYI: This year, we had community contributors coming from other OS communities (like OpenChain, FINOS, CHAOSS, OSPO++, InnerSource, etc) that gave feedback to improve the 2022 survey by opening an issue to the repo here. I just wanted to highlight this because community feedback is important to improve future surveys, and we will acknowledge these individual contributions in the final report from now on, starting with 2022 survey 🙂

Best
Ana

Hi Ana,

Thanks for reaching out. I'll follow the link.

Out of curiosity: will the survey's results be shared, please? If so, when and how?
(Some organisations put a registration wall to actually get that kind of results, then store and use the email address, you know..)

Cheers,

Hello OSPO.Zone community!

I'm reaching out to the various OSPO and open source networks whose community participants would be interested to help the OSPO movement and make their voices heard in the yearly, global, and cross-industry OSPO study 🙂

The OSPO survey is part of a research project on the prevalence and outcomes of open source programs and similar open source initiatives operating across the globe, (that this year includes a section on how OSPO are being implemented within organizations in Europe)

Either if your organization is on its way to creating an OSPO or similar open source initiative or you are part of one, if you'd like to help the OSPO community and get quality insights on the status of OSPOs within the European region, please make your voice heard. The 5th OSPO Survey closes Friday 22nd!! https://www.research.net/r/3DFL6QJ

Thank you so much 😊
Ana
