I've gone around this turnstyle a couple of times:
   1. git-clone.html
   2. Clone Repository
   3. Clone Git Repository, Repository URL git@xxxxxxxxxx:johnjbarton/outliner.git
   4. Oh dang, private key business needed, start over.

A friendly input would put up the input box with:
   Use git URL if you have a private key for the git reprository
   Use https URL if you have a password for the git site
   Use http URL otherwise.
Then I can reach for the right URL the first time around.

(FWIW I've used these key things on many sites and it's still to hard to
figure out how to the right key copied in exactly the right way, esp. when
you use multiple OSs and different shells.)
