Introductions (outside the agenda) As this was the first participation of Martin and his colleagues in the community meeting, all participants briefly introduced themselves. Martin and his colleagues explained their use case, and there were discussions about how OpenXilEnv works. Additional explanations were provided regarding the
Eclipse Foundation and the contribution process. Progress Review Status Edgar presented the current status of the progress review. At the moment, the Eclipse EMO team is reviewing the third-party dependencies of OpenXilEnv based on
information provided by Edgar and collected together with Eric. Martin raised the question of which features are planned next. Edgar explained that there are currently no major feature implementations planned. The focus is
on the upcoming release and on stabilizing OpenXilEnv through bug fixes. Martin and his colleagues also raised questions about task scheduling. Eric provided some explanations and emphasized that the primary focus of the tool is the
reproducibility of test cases. “Provide FMI compatibility information” issue Edgar and Eric will discuss the topic and document their findings in the corresponding issue. “Samples not being copied to install folder?” issue Eric confirmed that the sample files should be copied to the installation folder if the corresponding option is enabled during the build process. Edgar will verify
once again which platforms are affected. “Add instructions on how to install Esmini” issue Edgar will work on this item. Furthermore, the use of Esmini v3.6.0, which is currently the latest version, should be investigated. At present, the baseline version
of Esmini tested with OpenXilEnv is v2.31.1. Edgar will create a corresponding issue. User Documentation Eric mentioned that he is in contact with someone who has a proposal for a new user documentation format. This person may eventually open a pull request, which
would then be reviewed by Edgar and Eric. Open Discussion No further questions were raised. Edgar mentioned that, if Martin and his colleagues would like, he could organize an additional meeting to clarify any questions they might have. Action Items:
