[modeling-pmc] RE: [mdt-ocl.dev] Transition Plan for MDT OCL and EMF "QTV" Components?

Hi

Oh dear, I'm sorry ... at least it's coming to end an end.

As one of the regular contributors/users/whingers for MDT-OCL, let
me say many thanks for providing such a good foundation for this
key technology and being so ready to accept changes while providing
a healthy restraint on API-breaking enthusiasms. The latter role
is very important long-term; it might be good if you could at least
remain a committer emeritus if not officially a committer.

There was talk a couple of months ago
[MDT/OCL Text Editor and EMFT Model Registry suggestion thread
and https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=261742]
of you 'hatching a plan'
to propose me as a committer and to migrate the OCL editor from
QVT Declarative to MDT OCL where users may expect to find it.
As discussed, I am happy to take responsibility for the editor and
grammars, but since I work entirely in my own time with only very
occasional conference attendance funding, I cannot take responsibility
for the whole of MDT-OCL.

	Regards

		Ed Willink
