Dear Steering Committee;
With the MicroProfile Working Group Program Plan for 2025 approved, please find attached the draft budget for the working group which identifies how the Eclipse Foundation proposes to allocate the funds obtained through the working group revenue in order to support the objectives of the 2025 program plan.
Overall the 2025 budget process remains the same as 2024 for all working groups; meaning no change to expenditure line items, carry forward process or general and administration. However, there is one additional benefit that has been introduced for 2025; the Open Community Meetups Program which working groups may take advantage of subject to availability of budget. Please see the attached slide deck for more information.
2025 MicroProfile Working Group Budget There is one non material variance introduced to offset a slight reduction in a membership class change during 2024. To account for this slight adjustment, Discretionary Marketing was adjusted accordingly to reach a balanced budget for 2025. Please note the G&A did not change due to rounding in 2024 and again for 2025.
