Hmm... I'm going to need an official download page for the schema to point the IP team to it. It doesn't look like there is such a thing ?

I'll open a CQ for beta 2, should be simple.

Hi Antoine,
I’m talking about Beta 2 (which most likely is identical to final), which was also the base for the Ecore that I generated. According to what Ken was writing, the CQ that you created in May/June for me should be sufficient, right?

Reiner.

We need to open a CQ, as we have approval for the xsd beta 1 (or beta 2, can't remember for sure), but not for the final xsd.

The IP team will ask for provenance, so the xsd from OMG must be public then.

Reiner,

I think you would have had to have the IP cleared already in order to generate the implementation using EMF (since the code is effectively a derivative work). Antoine, can you confirm whether that's the case? If so, you're probably safe to commit the models; if not, you'll need to open a CQ and seek approval (it's really just a formality given the relationship between Eclipse and the OMG).

Cheers,

Kenn

Hi all,
I would like to commit the OMG sources that I used to merge out metamodel, aka the CMOF and XSD files from OMG.
I think this is useful for tracking changes and also good for the case that somebody want to write extension schemas (and thus requires access to original schemas, at least at generation time.
Do you think that this is Ok from the IP perspective? I assume that OMG allows distribution, as the files are freely downloadable. Does EPL allow to include such content?

Thanks,
  Reiner.
