[m2e-users] maven.build.timestamp property uninitialized

Hello,

I'm using m2e embeded maven version 3.0.2/1.1.0.20120315-0501 and it seems that property
maven.build.timestamp 
is not set according to http://maven.apache.org/guides/introduction/introduction-to-the-pom.html#Available_Variables

Is that a feature or a bug or it's just not implemented yet? 
I can still create timestamp property using groovy maven plugin but I don't like the idea of tweaking my pom too much.

I believe I'm not using this property in a wrong way.
