Hi Igor,
thanks for the answer, sounds interesting! But I don't belive, that my customer is interested in that ,-(
If you provide the pointers (for the preferences) at m2e-dev mailing I will try to find any time to have a look at the sources.
Maybe I can script this with java. Unfortunately I haven't any experience with eclips plugIns.

m2e uses eclipse standard preference infrastructure. I do not know what
format it uses to persist preferences, but java API is not too hard to
use.I can provide pointers at m2e-dev mailing list if you are interested.
