[m2e-users] changing the eclipse maven prefernces outsite from eclipse

Hi all,
is there a possibility to change the m2Eclipse settings automatically?
For example per script? Are the preferences somewhere in a property
file? I haven't found something like that.

The Goal:
Change the default maven installation automatically.
