This project is part of the Apache Forrest project (as part of the Google Summer of Code project). It is a generalisation of and an extension to the work done as part of the Burrokeet project and is hosted within the Apache Forrest project.
It makes sense for it to stay there for the foreseeable future since Forrest is a moving target right now and it would be difficult for people here to keep up with the changes in config files etc.
However, both Anil and myself are subscribed to this list and will be keeping things aligned as much as possible.
