[jwt-dev] Web site, WE code

Hi Marc,

I added the paragraph to our web site. Was a good idea.

Please note that since a few days you can find the latest code of the
workflow editor and some example plugins that use the workflow editor (such
as an html documentation) on the Eclipse CVS.
You can download the code from

host: dev.eclipse.org
repository: /cvsroot/technology
method: pserver
user: anonymous
password: none
path: org.eclipse.jwt/we/

(or using as method extssh and your Eclipse account). Subfolder WE contains
all the projects. Please ignore the other folders besides WE for the moment,
we need to remove them again.

I think that this code and sample projects will be helpful for your
xpdl-generation as well as your other tasks.

As I will be in Canada from tomorrow on till the end of the month, we will
only be able to stay in contact via mail. But we should already start
organizing a telco for the last week in October (I'll be available again on
the 30th).

Best regards,

Florian

Hi Florian

I like the way the website looks now :)

I think we should add a short pitch about the goal of the project first,
something like the first slide of the presentation "JWT – A complete,
flexible BPM platform" (or maybe the "JWT purpose" slide ?) :

The Java Workflow Tooling project (JWT) aims to build design time,
development time and runtime workflow tools in order to provide a complete,
flexible, interoperable Business Process Management platform.
This is achieved through an extensible architecture allowing to support many
different BP representations, format languages and execution engines. The
set of JWT tools is meant to allow for "Distribution"-like releases with
specific extensions targeting specific platforms or problems, e.g. JWT for
SOA. The mission and philosphy of JWT makes it natural complement to other
Eclipse projects, such as the friend SOA Tools Platform Project.

(I had a look at the STP website, I admit ;)

Regards
Marc
