Re: [jetty-users] 9.3.0 RC1 introduces dependency on Java 8?

Hello Greg,

Yes, I probably should have created a bug for that but was not sure if we where supposed to file bugs against release candidates.

For what it's worth: I have been running some medium-traffic servers with RC1 for ten days since that email and have not experienced any problem. In fact, the RC1 seems to be so stable I did not hesitate to install it on one of our production servers yesterday because a client suddenly decided they wanted a second SSL certificate.

Thanks again,

Hmm pity I missed this email... as fix probably wont make 9.3.0 now....  but I have created and will do something more elegant for 9.3.1
