Yes, it was my bad in thinking that the previous release of Jetty was 7.0.x.
The point about the download page is just that it is not as consumer friendly as it could be. Compare
http://download.eclipse.org/jetty/
with
http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/
(not that I am saying the eclipse page is the ultimate, just that it is IMHO easier to consume)
